I also have a Win95 CD - OEM version ("For Distribution Only with a New PC") - OSR2, but NOT labeled "with USB support." This is the original Microsoft labeled CD I'd be giving up.
If your trying to figure out if this will match your license, this needs a key in the form of #####-OEM-#######-##### - where # represents a single digit. I have the CD, Jewel Case, and back jewel case insert (also labeled ("For Distribution Only with a New PC"), but not the license. CD is slightly scratched, but still reads ok. Since I can't sell this seperately, it's really little value to me. $3 + $2 Shipping (within US). Just in case anyone's wordering where I got this CD and why I can give it up: This came with my Macintosh Performa 640CD DOS Compatible - A Mac with a 486DX2 chip right next to it's Motorola 68040. Well, needless to say, it (both the Mac and the PC within the Mac) didn't work wery well. It had a very strange architecture. The CPU socket (for the Motorola Chip) had a card in it, and both the Motorola CPU and the 486 CPU sat in the card that plugged into that socket on the Mac motherboard. Once I ripped out all of that wacky PC stuff out of the Mac, it worked 10 times better and 100 times more stable. Lesson: Don't put two different CPUs in a computer that was meant for only one. Squid, sorry for the Rant. |
