ya! you got the itch, and it needs scratchin.... REAL BAD!
![]() wouldn't it be nice to have the ability to use one single CPU Block on all the top line CPU/motherboard configs to date? And with possibly/ hopefully very minor modifications, be able to handle a couple of weird and unknown derivatives in the future. Possibly maybe something like this....... ![]() how about the unlikely possibility of enabling your existing Athlon (through hole) block, to become such a beast.... just imagine.... Athlon, Xeon, P4, Opteron .... whatever.... ![]()

I could cut those acrylic peices in seconds on the laser. When I say seconds I mean it. Probably take 10 seconds each including the holes.

lasers are nice.... takes me about 30min to get them done. the laser ones is probably nice and shiny on the sides as well, right.

What handtools do you use to cut the acrylic?

good old hacksaw... and then a disk sander to get to the desired shape, a little bit of 600 grit to get the sides that foggy kind of a shine, and I need to go get a small buffing wheel, to finish them off completely. The flame polishing works, but it just ain't the same as a propper rubbing session with some Silvo
