I had a chance to race one, in an indoor arena, in Montreal, a few years ago!

We have a huge Kart race every year here at Purdue, and my house is actually in the market for a new kart (and I happen to be the treasurer); however shifter karts are against the grand prix regulations here. It would be great if we could race them though....
