Nice, those pumps are dirt cheap!

I have heard some bad things about them (noisy, hot, low reliability), is any of this true?

I did the impellar mod on mine and with it submerged inside a junction box I can't hear it at all even when my pc is shut off and the pump is running alone. It does run quite hot but not enough for me to worry too much about it. Reliability seems to be a hit and miss from what I've read. So far mines been running about 4 months 24/7 without a hitch. Hopefully it doesn't die anytime soon...
