Default air bubbles in intake appear when turning on eheim

i'm redoing my tubing and am now using the 3/4" intake that came with the eheim 1250. when refilling the system and checking for bubbles, i noticed that the 3/4" barb appears to be spitting out air bubbles. each time i turn off/on the eheim, 3 or 4 small air bubbles rise to the surface (filling it in a basin). what would be causing this because the eheim is totally submerged.

i have a tube about 10cm long connecting to the 3/4" and using that gray screw to hold together the tube instead of worm clamps. the 10cm tube is sucking in water from the basin. the out take connects to the rest of the system.

[edit]
nevermind. the bubbles seem to have stopped after i created this post . now only if was allowed to delete this post.

Nah, that isn't as much fun for pricks like me to bump the thread just to show your ignorance to all.
