And i remenbered, i've been building a watercooled computer for some weeks already at my spare time, so why not post some pics?

So, heres what i came with:

A pic of the watercoolers i made, as you can see one is LWWR cloned:

Another one:

A pic of the baseplate of WW only:

Now, lets watch the radiator with the johnson pump next to it:

AS you can see, i painted the pumb black. The radiator will suffer the same "fate" .

Heres another:

And where am i going to "stuff" ( ) all this into?
In this modified case:

Right now it has an aero 7+.
Removed the front, and painted it black at the front because:
-Where the 4 fans are, there where grills, very restrictive, had to be removed;
-And trow the front you will be able to see them.

BUT see them how, if im going to put back the front?
WELL, the front was modified also

Yes Yes, thats a speaker's net. I thought it would look cool.

Heres another:

But this is my server, an 1700++ with an epox 8RDA.

Hummm, that looks like the fake WW from that drawing that was being given away freely. I hope you remeasured everything as that drawing was not to accurate. Also all that extra metal on one side of the block is not needed and shouldn't have been in that fake drawing. Also I don't remember the inlet was offset to fit directly over the die of the CPU. Thats what tipped me off that it was indeed that fake drawing. Also the o-ring groove is way to wide. The screw holes also look to far apart and to close to the mounting holes. Also note if it doesn't have the offset for the inlet all you have to do is remake the middle peice and move the slot over a little.

Still should work ok though. If you can't get the O ring to seal add two extra screw holes in the middle of the others. I would get rid of all that extra metal on the one side to make mounting a little easier and less meatal to store heat for no reason.

Who milled it?

a friend of mine who works at a factory with a bunch of machines in the 25k price range.

I did it with the drawing, truth be said. however i checked the fins, they are 1 mm and the ticness of the baseplate is 1.2 mmm.

Does are the only measures known i think.

But now that one youre telling me of the offset, i really dont know for sure. i hope not.
I did questioned my friend about that extra metal, but anyway, shouldnt do any harm.

However its too late, cant do anything about it now. Maybe next year ill ask my friend again to build me another, better one...

That extra metal might get in the way of mounting is the biggest concern. You will have to put it on the other side of the hump on the socket, but if the board has Caps it might hit them. Might give it a dry run real quick to see if it will need some modding. If it does it shouldn't be to hard to do.

If you put the block together check to see if the slot in the middle peice is in the center of the block. if it is then it isn't offset correctly. The guy who made that drawing new nothing of block design from what I can tell because of the obvious flaws in it. Still even with those flaws the block should still work fine if you get it mounted. Just make sure the fins are over the die at some point and you can't go to wrong.

And once again correct JD!
The extra metal did get in the way... had to ask another friend to cut it!
AND it is offset! about 2 milimeters to the right .

But hell, I'm rocking at 2600 MHZ @ 1.9 volts!

Heres some more pics :

Chipset block finished:

Another one:

This is the piece that i made to fuel up the sistem, conect the WW exits, and Air-Trap All-In-One ( should i call it All-in-wonder thingy? )

With the WW:

Spended quite some time building this PC, many times without my parents at home.

I still had to feed myself.

Here's the result:

If anyone wants the receip just PM me

SO, here it is, the finished product with 3/4 tubes, johnson pump, custom chipset and BAD cloned WW:

Yeap, johnson pump suks. It was already leaking, but i have already fixed it.

Hope you liked the final result.

PS: does this forums support animated gifs?
