Default Mounting the WW on an ASUS P4PE board

I have an ASUS P4PE board running an Intel P4 2.4. In searching for a quality block I've come to the conclusion that the D-Tek WW is the block to get. I was all ready to take the plunged and then looked at my board and noticed that there are no mounting holes for the block. How would I go about mounting this block for this P4PE board? Would I remove the stock HSF mounting bracket and use those holes?

Thanks in advance for your help and direction.

yup that's right. Pull off the stock mounting clip and there will be 4 holes underneath.

Man, was that a fast reply or what?!

So is it true that the holes beneath the HSF mounting bracket are stock holes that would work with any block? Am I on track with getting the WW?

My plan is to get the following:
WW - CPU Block
DD Intel "Z" chipset block
DD Maze4 GPU block

I already have an Eheim 1250 and BIX.

Thanks again to all that started and participate in this forum. It's been a HUGE help!

when you get the ww i would be intersted to see how the p4pe reports the temp drop.
i have a p4pe and cascade and when i replaced one of my home made water blocks with the casecade the cpu temps reported by the mother board never changed.

what do cooling do you use at the moment ?

Currently I have the stock HSF that came with my retail CPU. What do you think of the other specs?

the rest looks good to me. you could save some cash with a heater core if one will fit in your case.

how do the z chip block's fit into the solder lugs on the p4pe boards is there some sort of clip thing.

what stepping is the p4 2.4 chip ?

i have a c stepping 2.53 running at 3.30 1.55 volts (thats the bios setting but when idle it's closer to 1.6 and under load 1.5)

I already have the BIX, so I'll keep using that. Yes, the Z-Block does mount with clips and springs. To be honest, I have no idea what the stepping is (is there someplace in the bios that displays that). I'm not overclocking and don't really plan to although that could change.
