My LAN thingy is coming up this weekend and really its been my primary forcus for the last month or so. This initial event has already been more complex, and has had more minor problems that needed to be corrected than I thought there would be. But we are heading into this weekend looking real solid and I think we have a plan and an event that will be a load of fun to be at.

After this weekend my attention swings to ProCooling again for a few months ( then back to the next LAN in Mid January).

So thats that, just wanted to let you know I am not dead, just busy on other geek type ventures.

Was filled up for about 6 hours, now one open spot

filling up a 42 person LAN on its first run is a pretty cool thing!

And the fact Pro/Mini's in the works makes it even slightly coolign related hehehe

I was in Home Depot last ngiht and every time i walk around the plumbing area I just get the itch to make something cool.

Still Lan'ing is somewhat more relaxing than the real thing now that I know. You don't quite get the same adrenelin rush, or shakes afterward, or queesyness after you see the person you just shot with his intestines blown all over the street ....but in the end sitting in front of the warm glow of a CRT using a mouse instead of an M4 is much more enjoyable. Plus you get to go home afterward!!!!
