Default IC7 Max3 Mosfet cooler

I have the IC7-Max3, who has an OTES bridge, but I want to watercool the mosfets, so I can keep the fan speed of the OTES low. On high speeds it makes a lot of noise! (when you have the rest silent)

I went to the store, and got me enough aluminium to build an airplane

My biggest problem is the design of the OTES. My block need to go 2.5 cm deep...

So I came up with this idea:

The small heatsinks (used to be for memory) are 10x12mm, and are glued.

It works, it fits, and it ain't leaking! (not even with normal water pressure)

Downside is that due to the small dementions (I only had 10x12mm space, and I needed to go 25mm deep) the water flow channel is about 4mm, with about 18 90 degree turns!

It took me about a week to finish it all, as it consists of a lot of small parts, that all need to be glued, and dry.

This baby just needs a 70cm head pump on it's own! After my pump mod the flow was "ok", I guess about 2l pm

Very cool! I know the fets on my IC7 (no G or max) get warmer than my proc at high-times (42*C load)... even the 120 in the rear of my box doesn't do anything for them. They either need ducting or some nice big sinks on them so they get some more cooling. might be better once i run the case w\ the side on though !
