Default Mounting a Ehiem pump sideways

Is there any problems mounting a Ehiem pump sideways?
With the intake like normal, and the output going sideways rather then up.

I don't think so... though they are easier to prime if the intake is vertical.

It isn't made to work on it's side, however since I assume you have a centrifugal eheim pump it SHOULD not matter, i reccomend however you don't since then the water has to travel less far with most piping plans, but if it's shorter sideways, it SHOULD not be a problem.

No, it won't matter one bit. You can even run intake up if you like. Just stay away from an intake down orientation, and try to maintain a flooded suction line if possible.
