I forgot, what model/year cars make all copper heatercores? And if you even know the Fedco # and the dimensions thats also great. Thanks.

afaik, there aren't really any guaranteed copper heatercores, most are brass or copper, or a mix.
Best to go and ask, if they have the patience ot deal with you, from my experience

Oh really? I feel dumb. Someone told me that there were all copper heatercores.... I think he said Bonneville. Not so sure....

Im with greenman on this. Theres no way to tell for sure.
There are numorus companys manufacturing replacement heatercores. Its enevitable that some use differant methods of manufacture and differant meterials. Fact is heatercores are for cars not for computers. It makes no differance to the car if its copper or not and therefore places dont care which type they sell. Thats not to say that theres not more chance of getting a copper one from a cirtan retailer or type of car. It just means theres never a relyable source. That pic looks like a heatercore to me it just uses a differant method of construction and a differant design to the type of cores that are commenly used by watercoolers. |
