Default Does someone have a picture of a Fedco mounted through the right wall of a case?

I remember seeing a picture of someone mounting his Fedco vertically on the right hand side of his case, if you're looking at the case from the front. It was squished in the space between the right case wall and the CD drive bays, with part of the right case wall cut out. I currently have a Chenming Mid Tower 301KEG and I want to do something similar.

Can someone please post a picture or a link to something like this so that I can get some ideas? Thanks a bunch!

fedco or fedco number is a numbering system used to list types of heater cores.

Eh, sorry, I meant the Fedco 2-342.

My nick is babybunny because back in the day I used to pwn at Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2. Back then my full name online was "fuzzybabybunny", and it was awesome because everyone thought that I would be some kind of pushover girl (I'm a guy) and they would all go after me. But I killed them. All of them.

"miNION_oF_tHE sITH was r0xx0red by fuzzybabybunny."

Eventually "fuzzybabybunny" got too damn long and now it's just "babybunny."

Baby bunnies are also soooooooooooooooo cute.

Those who had seen Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail might have been a bit more cautious...

Yup, those are the ones. Thanks.

Unfortunately, after measuring my case I realised that my Fedco 2-342 isn't going to fit into the case like that. The heatercore would either get in the way of the motherboard or one of my CD-ROM bays. Even if I dremeled out a section of the CD-ROM bays I would have to go at it with the hard drive rack too or else the heatcore/shroud/fan combo is going to stick out of the side of the case by two to three inches.

Guess I'm just going to have to mount the whole thing on the top of the case

And, yeah, I definitely know about the Monty Python bunny, but I don't think I was thinking about it when I chose my name those many years ago

Why don't you attach it onto the 'panel'-side of the case?
If you use a little extra tubing, you should be able to work comfortable in your case and don't have a big thing on top of your case.
