Default new comp... watercoolin suggestions plz

I've been a builder for about 2 years now and I'm just starting to venture over to watercooling and I'm looking for all the suggestions I can get! I'm upgrading to the amd 3500+ (939), asus sli, asus extreme 6800 (dual), blah blah blah. I was lookin at the Lubic/Acrylic cases and I would really like to get somethin mid sized of that type. First question... Acrylic/mid with a Bigwater? Buy a Koolance case? Or build a Lubic case and make a custom kit? Keep in mind that I'll prob only be clocking from 2.2 to... 2.7 (at the most). If you guys could help me out I'd be great!

Give some thought as to why you are going to use water cooling.
I would hazard a guess, given the acrylic case, that you are looking for something that's first visually interesting and things like noise reduction and overclocking are somewhat secondary. If this is the case, you might want to look at some of the PolarFlo blocks (and trust someone else's opinion as I'm a bit "bling-impaired").

If I've guessed wrong (and I often do) you might be looking for quiet or overclocking - this is a particularly good place to be looking for that kind of info. If you're particularly looking for watercooling-for-quiet you might also try the watercooling forum at SPCR, although this forum's focus has broadened over the last year to include quiet/silence.

Hope this helps - and welcome here!

Polarflo is definitely bling. Some of the alphacool blocks are very bling as well, but german bling is a different form of bling. Everything is clean, user friendly, simplistic, and well engineered. Polarflo is the kinda bling that is like "whoa, look at mah chrome!"

A good alphacool system will perform well and look even better in any case. Even their radiators scream pimp, I have to admit.

Yeah, I'm lookin for something that will look very clean, as well as give me a quiet feel while being able to overclock to my likings. So the Polarflo does it's job? as well as has the "eye candy" feel?
