yep. I don't know what to choose. The other components are as following:
Double heatercore with shroud DD RBX DD Maze4 gpu DD 5 1/4 bay reservoir 1/2" clearflex tube pump????? I have heard alot about the D4 and its noise but if the performance is much better than 2 * DDC i don't care about the noise. What would you guys prefer? I also want to see how much better the 2 * D4 is in proportion to the 2 * ddc Btw. GREAT FORUM! ![]() |

I'm running a DD TDX, DD Maze4, BIX, and a D4, and I can't hear the pump at all.
Are you sure you really need two pumps? I'm running all of this in a single loop, and my CPU temp is 34C at idle.

Humm yeah I think so. I've heard the rbx is a very restrictive block and I also want to use the acc. nozzle #5 for max performance which means I need alot of head.... Or am I wrong. please correct me. I'm not a pro
![]() I really want a movie or something so i can hear it. I've heard the D4 is VERY noisy. I might be wrong... |

Ahh, I'm not a pro either. I had heard that the D4 was noisey as well, but mine makes no noise at all (believe me when I say I was very concerned). It's been running 24/7 with short periods of being turned off so I can do something in the box. When I fire the machine back up again, it doesn't make any noise, even while spinning up from a standstill.

I would suggest you use the #4 jet, it gives about the same temps & is less restrictive to flow. Save the flow rate for your GPU block. Really the RBX & Maze 4 GPU blocks are not high restiction blocks at all, medium maybe, but no more than that. And one D4 should do a fine job for you, though you might also wish to check into the 50Z pump at www.cooltechnica.com It offers a slight gain in flow over the D4 & is said to also be a bit lower noise. But such differances will be quite small. |

Sustain I have tried ten pump setups in the last two years. Tell me what you want and I will try to answer. First off two DD4s will not fit in your case, unless you have a very big case. Will the pump(s) be in the case or out. Do you want lots of flow power or just enough. Try reading this http://forums.procooling.com/vbb/sho...stpage&t=10825 Cathar All I can say is wow he knows.

Well I considered buying two double heatercores (don't know how to connect them.. parallel?? series?? maybe one before and one after cpu??) because it seems that I can get them pretty cheap (38$ with shroud). But if I add one more rad I thought I would be in need of one more pump to get a good flow as I wanted to use the acc. nozzle #4 or #5 in my rbx too... I'm kinda confused! :S
DD RBX DD Maze4 GPU dangerden D4 Double heatercore with shroud two fans (Don't know which one yet) 1/2" ID clearflex tube Typhoon bay-res or DD RBX DD Maze4 GPU 2 * dangerden D4 2 * Double heatercore with shroud four fans (Don't know which one yet) 1/2" ID clearflex tube Typhoon bay-res This is the two setups. Which one would fit best. I mean do I get noticable performance by getting one more double heatercore and one pump? Is it worth it. Another problem is which pump I should get. I think I will go for the D4 but if the ddc has better performance vs. its noise I would consider going after that. Has there been any problems with the DDC's caused by the mod??? |

The D4 not only noisy, but the quality of the noise is annoying.
The D4 also dumps heat into the loop. Dig for Cathar's post 'how much pump is too much'. |

Humm it's mostly because I have no choice. I'm from denmark as you probably noticed and I I really don't want to order parts from different places because of the shipping rates. I'm ordering from Voyeurmods.com and the only pumps which might fit my system is the D4 or the DDC... I really don't know what to do
