One thing I've noticed since I moved stateside, is that people aren't very open about what they're doing out here.
Openness really goes a long way. In all the comments linked above, someone posted this link: http://www.viperlair.com/articles/ar...ts/state.shtml (We've posted it here before). My point is that I believe that it's a good idea to let people see what's going on, behind the scenes, on a regular basis. Corporate America took a big hit with the Enron and Worldcom scandals, and consumer confidence is at an all time low. I say "Be open, be honest". There's nothing wrong with a review site (or a reviewer) posting their financials (among others), similar to requirements of all publicly traded companies. It isn't required of private companies/enterprises, allegedly because of competition, but it doesn't mean that it shouldn't be done. |
