Default Ways to keep ProCooling online

So I was doing my bills and budget, and realized the $50.00 a month I pay to keep procooling online is taking a bite in my pocket I could do without with some other bills I have going on.

I neither have the time to do too much (although slowly but surely I am nearing getting a new site up... its far more complex than I thought it would be initially).

but even with a new site up, the chances of more content are slim, as I dont have time to do much work and I am too far out of the loop on high end cooling to do the work that good on testing. pH has some hardware issues, and also that whole WoW thing going on.

The ProCooling forums are an asset to the cooling industry and I am not about taking them down. But I need to find a way to get either a sponsor, or some way to cover the $50.00 a month in hosting fees (or at least a greater portion. No one has paid sponsor bills in a long time for PC.

I do all the admin work, maint work, and take care of the site for free, I just need some help paying for the hosting as I am tired of paying for it out of my pocket.

You might consider Google AdSense. I have tested their add on customcooledpc.com and it seems to work ok. Setting up another site and will probably drop it on there aswell.

How about a donation button. I generally support the good sites I frequent as well as the racing league Im in. All ya need is 20 people a month to kick in and youll be rollin in the dough and living the good life LOL......well not hardly, but it might help.

I think we found a way to avoid asking for donations. But that is pretty much what I was thinking this morning

what is the problem with donations ?
I presume such can be done privately if desired.
most here (for long) understand there is no free lunch
I have no objection to helping support that which is useful

I think the 'problem' is asking
ok all you wizards out there, DO what you think will yield your desired result

you want reviews of current interesting products ?
if Joe had a C note he could stimulate a tester
where is procooling going ?
if procooling is only water cooling, the site is dead

where is the Venn diagram showing the interrelationships between different cooling technologies,
this place needs gurus for air, heat pipes, water we got, phase change, and perhaps thermosyphons as well
can procooling become ghetto-speak for (good) thermal management ?

boy, this is a pitch to a really small audience !

I can host it for free... then all u need to cover is DNS... you'll have usual cpanel access as per Planet / ServerMatrix servers...

Drop me a line with avg monthly bandwidth etc...

Hosting costs have been worked out in the last day, but thanks for the offer. If we need it down the road I will drop you a line.
