Hello All
I am builiding my first water cooling setup and I have decided to go with the DD TDX for my P4 478. My questions is, do I need to lap this block myself? The reviews I have read have not said they had to but I wanted to know if this was something I should consider doing. Thanks for the input. |

Generally not recommended with waterblocks you buy new, as you might make it shiney but youll destroy the machined flatness and overall decrease contact quality.
I dont know of a single recent (good) block that can be improved out of the box by hand-lapping.
