I am trying to create a share that will have a sub-folder for each username in my AD environment. The user's folder will contain all of their My Documents once I enable redirection.
I have messed around with the permissions but they always seem to be messed up. I have joined the NAS to the domain successfully. Does anyone have any experiences with this? I would need Domain Admins to have full permissions of the "Users" folder and Domain users to only have read permissions, etc. Then each user and domain admin would have full control of their own folder. I appreciate the feedback! Thanks! |

Hi!
Can you give a bit more detail? Which unit and OS are you using, and can you be a bit more specific about how the permissions are 'messed up'? I have a Snap 1100 in an AD environment that seems to behave, so it might be something you're doing, or maybe not doing. |
