pretty straight forward, NEC is a computer part manufacturer memory. Actually one of the biggest ones too.

no no no no no...Don't downgrade your memory speed. Even if you chunk in a gig you'll see far less performance (unless you are doing like scientific imagining which has super high texture maps). PC150 is very nice RAM and if you are looking to upgrade there are a few choices. There are PC160 and PC175 versions at http://ocz.safeshopper.com/?993 and Muskin and Corsair both have pretty good memory. But if your computer is just gonna be used as a general computer (gaming, audio, office stuff, ect) you don't need 1 gig (give it to me,

I'd just stay with the kingmax. OCZ is mad sketchy, and you prolly won't be hitting THAT high of an FSB. kingmax should do 160 2-2-2 anyway.

Just wondering, Diabolica.. are you in anyway affiliated with OCZ? You seem to advertise their products, when we all know they are pretty bad in customer relations.

Hey I know im late to the party on this thread, you got a VP6 so do I, imagine that. I use PC150 from Mushkin Rev3. It works like butter, I've gone all the way close to 160FSB with no prob. The board is capable of 178FSB. Other than that I think Muskin is the best. I heard some good things and bad things about OCZ, I just dont like them for some reason, Mushkin is tried and true
