My Tyan Thunder K7 is on the way. I'm gona water cool it cause I don't want two high speed CPU fans. I'll let you know how it goes.

i read in your review that tyan supplies a I/O plate header for the thunder k7
i was curious there joe if there would be any problems you might think of installing the thunder k7 board in a Lian-Li PC70 Full tower case..

i have no experience in using the case or the motherboard.. so just need a second opinion before i start to order for the system

Monarchcomputers is now selling the tyan tiger-MP
a lower priced dual amd mobo.
No scsi, no nics, no raid,
will take a standard atx connector.

k7 never did have onboard raid

mostly i read that the 760mp's are only good for a server farm, for compiling softare and webpages..

i also read about that hard DMA transfers from the Ultra 160 controllers on mpeg video halts the k7
