Just a quick note to thank Andy for his assistance!
Approximately 18 months ago Andy shared with me the PSU upgrade Information for the Snap 4000. As I don't like electricity I took Andy's advice and had a mate who is qualified do the soldering, after I got my act together and mounted the PSU board onto the existing mounts... We were reasonably sure way back then that the problem I was having was PSU Related and it looks like this has been confirmed. My Snap4000 runs really well not missing a beat, I installed it with the original 4x 160GB HDD's from my Snap 4200 and upped the RAM as well. Even though it took 18 months it was worth the effort, thanks again Andy, you are a credit to this forum! |
