If you where in the US I would direct you to the boating department at Wallmart. They have a $10 500GPH bielge pump that runs on 12VDC at only 1.5amps!!! I have one here and it pushes ALOT of water with just the comps power supply. I have yet to do anything with it but shortly I am going to make a water cooler for the motor on my CNC mill with it.

I'm in auckland, and I have found that the 'Building Depot' has 600gph pumps for around NZ$120.

Don't know if you have them in Dunedin though, we have 3 or 4 around auckland

just put it in your computer anyway, and feed the 240v out through the sound card ports, or a spare pci slot or something

yeah, that isn't too hard though at all.

you can do it to the psu, just open the psu, and look at the 3 power wires there, just take the feed off them

yes, you will need to turn it off at the wall, but at least it means that when the computer is on, the water pump has to be on

yeah, have like a wooden base, with enough room in the front or sides for a radiator, have a pump somewhere else in it, have bolts running through it into the case (through the feet maybe)
