Default a more designer approach to water blocks.

Ok playing is solid works I came up with this. Inlet in the center over a pin sticking out (most heat transfer there) and outlet on a side somewhere, still not that good as to show it.

I was thinking of somithing similar, but it would not be as high and those three wedge shaped blocks around the centre pole would instead be fins radiating from the centre.

NOOO NOT MORE BIOHAZARD STUFF!

Those will probably sell well though.

Any chance you could do a procooling style snowflake

Very sweet looking Fixittt I agree, the bio hazard stuff is so blah over rated these days, that design is killer looking.

yeah, a snowflake would be more effective, cause of the increased surface area.

the procooling block...

Won't warm water collect in the two channels that don't have fittings?

do a 5/8" inlet and 3x 3/8" outlets on the biohazard one. Then make a manifold like what Bladerunner has. Thats the only way I can see it working well

5/8" inlet... hehe... right... damn that's some biggy hose. I can't see a mass product actually selling well w/ 5/8" hose.

5/8" now is just like 1/2" a year ago, everyone thought it was stupid.

I can't see it getting too much above 1/2" and 5/8" eventually though, because of the room around the socket would limit greatly how much surface area you can have inside the block with such a large tube size

do a 5/8" pipe instead of barb, 1/2" silicon fits nicely over it anyway.

yeah, thats why in my car radiator I asked for 15mm pipes on it as the outlets, the 1/2" silicone tubing will fit on very well indeed

You should try to make the water directional so it ends up going in one direction around the outside where the outlet is. Kind of like a whirlpool effect.

Bah!!! there I go thinking again!!!

I like that raised spike in the middle there. That will be beneficial for bringing up heat. Well I bet it will perform just fine. It looks great. Grab us some pix of the final version

Impressive. I would like to see the procooling snowflake though. I love the current look though. Once its done and smoothed out its going to rock. I don't know what temps will be like but the should be descent. If all goes well and it performs well you could make a fair share of money from them as long as you could produce them fast enough. lol
