Default Repaired and modified Spiral W/B pics

Well, I had a mishap using the 220watt tec and the Spiral W/B by fixitt. I forgot to turn on the waterpump before powering the pelt. Real stupid, I know . But I realized I had forgoten to plug the waterpump in only 20seconds after I turned on the pelt and imediatly turned off the power to the pelt and reached to plug in the water pump when I heard the crack of the acrylic top.

Yesterday I finally got around to making a new top. I want to contiue using the Spiral but knew the acrylic was not a good idea with such a strong pelt. So I made a two piece top out of aluminum, and used epoxy to bond the pieces to create the design.

You can see the pics HERE

All I have left is tap the in and outlets for fittings and reseal the top.

I am not finished with it yet. I need to get a 1/4" NPT pipe tap to finish the job. I know I have one but can't find it anywhere. I am also tring to find a place that can anodize it for me before final assembly.

Kind of interested myself to see if it will be cooler or not. My guess is that it would be too little difference to tell along with the variables with peltier cooling.
