Where I work, we just got some USB floppy drives for a bunch
of our laptops that for some reason didn't come with one OEM. These things work GREAT! But I was wondering if anyone has some experience with these and our newer, more modern system boards. The reason I ask....I generally don't install floppy's in any of my desktop machines. I just do most everything offa CD. But on the odd occasion that I need to Diag a machine, I'd like to quickly connect a floppy and boot to one of my "Magic Boot Disks". Does anyone know if our newer system boards support booting off of a USB floppy drive? I don't dare ask to borrow one of the drives from work, as I've only been there three weeks at this site, so... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
