Default Cooltechnica

Question:

Is Cooltechnica a reliable place to purchase parts? I want to buy a Maze2 and an Eheim but...... Danger Den are out of 1250's as of today.

And I can't find Cooltechnica on resellerratings but their prices are just as nice. But their "Terms and Conditions" are pretty one way if you know what I mean. Are they alright because I'd hate to have to make a road trip out to Nevada to make things right.

I haven't heard a bad thing about them yet, which is something you can't say about too many other people

You just have to do it manually.

Something is wrong with their online ordering. My credit card is good, I know where I live but it won't let me complete the order. I've ordered parts from at least 20 different places online before with the same credit card so I know how to do it but it isn't working. Shit, I need those parts too.

hmm apparently they're having some problems with online ordering indeed... read their news section on the front page...
it says there they're accepting phone orders though...

I didn't see anything on the front page. I just sent them an e-mail.

I just go to sites and order. i don't spend much time reading the junk on the site. Its weird because they didn't just disable the online ordering, it still goes through all the steps like at any other site its just when you click to complete it says that something is wrong with your information. I tried to order the same parts like 4 times, nothing happening.

Shit, I just read that they are out of Eheim 1250's anyway.

Where can I get an Eheim 1250 and a dangerden block? I guess axion but their site looks like crap. You can't find anything unless you type in Danger Den

And they are selling a GeForce 256 for like 175 American Dollars.

odds are if Danger Den is sold out of something then their re-sellers whom they supply will not have stock as well. Have you tried http://www.petwarehouse.com and http://www.petsmart.com ? I have ordered all of my pumps from Petwarehouse in the past, however my last purchase the Eheim 1250 was 3 or 4 months ago. I am sure one if not both of these sites will have the pump, Eheims are very popular in the aquarium world.

Hi mx-6*,

I'm so sorry for all the trouble you had placing your order online with us.

That stupid bank caused us enough trouble , but we started working with a new one now. So hopefully things will be fine.
We ran tests all night, and on our end everything looks OK.

Take care,

Bruce
