Default my f!r5'][' w4t3r c00l!ing pr0j3c']['

I am building my first PC. And it will be going along with my first water cooling project . I was wondering, where are the best places to buy water cooling products. Since it is going to be my first pr0j3ct , should I go with a kit or buy parts seperatly?

I think before you delve into watercooling you need to fix your k3yb045d m5. l337.

Not a matter of you not being welcome, everyone is welcome here. Just this place is a lot different than [H]. Attitudes are much better, and we focus more on exchanging ideas and info rather than bashing people. You will find mony is not most of the authorities on watercooling frequent these forums and everyone's goal is the quest for knowledge. However at the same time people are expected to act mature and leet speak certianly leaves a bad taste in everyones mouth around here. If you have questions please ask, but please read and research prior to comming here. Simply asking us to hold your hand and walk you through everything there is to buying and constructing a watercooling system is frowned upon. It clearly shows you have done little or no research, nor have you made any effort to learn these things on your own. If you want to stay then by all means stay and learn a thing or two. If you are not willing to do the leg work and act mature then it is probably better you stay over at [H]. Sorry is this is a bit blunt, but I don't exactly sugar coat things I say.

I have had a lot of people help me over at [H]. Their are a lot of smart people over there. I came over here because I know you guys specialize in cooling. I don't think that isn't a fair presumption on your part saying that the [H] people don't know shit. I have come to learn way more about computers with their help. Also, I have never heard anybody use l33t speak over at the [H]ard|Forums. I have been the only one using it, I always thought it was more of a gaming thing. Well, I know you say I am welcome here, but if you think that the people at [H]ard|Forum don't know shit, I don't know what to think . Maybe some of you should do your research and find out how much these people really know. I am sort of a newb at [H]ard|Forum and they have helped me out with everything. There has never been a putdown shot towards me. There are lots of those around the forum, I'll give you that, but for the most part they are a big family and it isn't fair for you to have a prejudice against them.

Search the name decodeddiesel on the [H]. I have about 2.5K posts, and I NEVER go there anymore. The immaturity and bullshit on that forum was enough to drive me away for good. Yes some poeple over there know a decent ammount, but there a lot of things going on there which would be more apparent had you been around for longer. For the most part, the majority of people there don't know shit. Obivously there are some exceptions. The attitude is the main problem there, but information incest is also a HUGE problem.

Oh and BTW, yes we specialize in cooling but that does not mean we are specifically a resource to ask the most simplistic of questions simply because you are not willing to do research. I mean seriously, if you had read maybe 4 threads in this forum, or spent 5 minutes searching it, or if you had read the articles on Procooling each and every question you asked would have been answered and then some. It is apparent you have done little or no research.

I also came from the [H], and when I look at the posts there now, it just seems like the forum never advanced on a technical level. People always seem to be asking the same questions and, which is OK, but I wanted to go deeper into the watercooling scene and learn more. I think Overclockers.com hit it right on the head. HardOCP is a more of a general hardware news portal, while ProCooling is a specialty site with a crystal clear purpose for existance.

The other problem is that the [H] is too well known for its General Mayhem and Soap Box forums that just attract spammers and flamers. My friend just cracks up in an annoying manner about a Soap Box thread, but has probably only stepped foot into the Overclocking forum maybe once or twice. It kinda showed when he overclocked his GF2Ti to the point where it screwed his screen up and applied the clock speeds everytime he restarted. I'm not saying that I've never done stupid things, but some people don't make good representatives sometimes, lol.

I have only posted 2 or 3 times in the soapbox and mayhem forums together. The other 148 times have been in mainly cool cases, cooling & overclocking, networking. I have a thirst for knowledge, If I wanted flames I would be posting in those parts, but I don't. And I still get the information I want/need from people that know what they are talking about.

Let this be known. I did not start this, I just asked a simple question. No conflict intended.

I wasn't explicitly talking about you, but there are so many people who use [H] for Gen Mayhem. The main point is that the ratio of mayhem to techs on the hard forum is probably rather large.

But, enough with that. Procooling really is a great site as a whole. Go to the main site and look at some of the watercooling articles. They have detailed descriptions of different kinds of cooling systems. If you really want to get technical, there is this article:

http://www.procooling.com/articles/h...xplained.shtml

You'll learn a bunch about the basic cooling methods, and prolly have flashbacks to physics class (or chem for that matter) if you've taken them before, lol.

but then you turn around and start stirring up shit on [H]? Do you think we don't read that, or because we are procooling regulars [H] is somehow broken on our browsers? You have blatently lied, and have incited this. Oh no? You didn't? Damn well it sure looks that way...

"I was just posting on the pro cooling forums and a person thier said that [H]ard people aren't welcome their. Somehow they new i was [H]ard, i didnt even say anything. They said that none of them like [H]ard people......"

OK **** this thread.

Let me make some stuff DAMN CLEAR!

ProCooling has NOTHING against people who read other sites... hell you could read the Goatse.cx all day long and we dont care!

These readers who have made the inept and VERY childish comments in this thread are not speaking for anyone but themselfs.

To you people who trashed this thread, do it again and you are gone, banned, axed, bye bye..... I wont tollerate this shit on my forum.

to Jonny 2x4 : Most people are tired of that 1337 speak stuff, in the future its prolly not good to do a thread title like that. Please re-post your question and hopefully this wont happen again.

I am closing this thread as its nothing to be proud of.
