Default Help me decide!

In a previous thread I asked about Maxi-Jet pumps and posted a pic of a system that a guy wants to sell to me for $300 USD. Well, he sent me some more pics of the system and after looking at them I still can't make a decision as to whether or not I should buy the damn thing!

Help me decide! Do you think this watercooling setup is alright? Should I buy this for $300 USD?

Here's what I'd be getting:

- YY Cube
- Maxi-Jet 1200 Pump
- dual rads (one is 7x6x2, the other is 4x4)
- Swiftech MCW462 waterblock (probably swap this out for a DD Maze3)
- dual 120mm fans on top (one sucking, one blowing)
- buncha case fans (couple 80mm's and a couple 120mm's)
- custom fanbus
- 300W PSU
- plexi window with neon on each side of the case

That is just a tough call. I wouldn't buy it only because I like to do stuff myself and am capable of it. But if you do not have the tools/time/knowlege then that might be alright of a choice. Looks real nice.

I need to find a case like that!!!

jaydee, that case is a Yeong Yang cube and is priced at $150 USD over at ServerCases.com. Here's the direct link: http://www.servercases.com/ImageFiles/SC0210.html

I know exactly what you mean about wanting to do it yourself. I think that's why I'm not going to buy this setup. I'll never be 100% satisfied with it and chances are I'll end up ripping it complete apart and rebuilding it from scratch anyway.

I used to work with the guy who built that BOX. Is it Tom from www.ocmojo.com?

I would say if you don't want to do the work then its worth it. Looks like he is charging less then it would cost you to build the same thing. If you like all those components then go for it.

i guess I would also ask, why is he sellin it? is that box setup with a TEC and 1 power supply? Why the extra rad? Doesn't look like GPU or NB setup.

Sound like a good deal to me. However, I would rather build it my self..

I think it's worth $300, just the case + fans + block + rad would be close to $300, thats forgetting the modding work and stuff too
