I have a swifttech universal block on my 1.6a northwood which is oc to 2.4 with a mild voltage of 1.675. Its going through an eheim 1048 and blackice extreme, only thing is my idle temps are around 45c. With a ful load on the cpu, temps can get as high as 53c depending on room temp,I do not know my ambient temp, but i can say the room the pc is in is almost chilly enough for long sleeved shirt. The block is not really warm to touch anywhere, nor are the hoses warm. Ive reseated the block several times and took note of the seating mark from the AS paste. Looks to be on there pretty good, but even with the screws bottomed out the block seems kinda loose. Its a big heavy mofo and seems like it should take more pressure down to the cpu. Anyone else have this block? I dont even see anyone post about it, when i ordered my stuff, i wanted the dd maze2 but the guy i bought from talked me out of it saying the swifty was a better block. I know it cost me more $. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

not maany here use swiftech, but it shouldn't be loose at all. maybe add in a washer on each post to make it tighter. Remember you can't crack the core
