Well, now that I have most of the stuff I need to rebuild my setup, I thought I'd post a few pics of the stuff I got from USPlastics that I thought others would be interested in.
First off, we have a shot of the various fittings I ordered, both NPT and hose barbs in a variety of sizes: ![]() These fittings are semi-transparent, and glow nicely under black light for those of you with case illumination. Check it out: ![]() Next are the Colder quick disconnect fittings. All the ones I ordered were equippied with shutoff valves much like the standard ball seals you'd see in a metal quick disconnect so that the flow is cut off on both sides once the connection is broken. The one on the left is an elbow hosebarb fitting, the one in the middle is a 1/2" NPT fitting, and the one on the right is a bulkhead fitting that will go on the outside of my new enclosure and my tower to run the lines between them: ![]() I've got some other random shots of stuff, including the damage that prompted me to start the rebuild in the first plast as well as shots of me rebarbing my Big Mamma to 1/2" fittings. The link to the main picture directory can be found here Enjoy. --HP

Well, they arent crystal clear, but they are pretty transparent. And cheap as hell, too. Way cheaper than I've found plastic fittings in any store for. which is why I ordered so many. They should see me through the next two or three projects.

Man, that sucks. All of mine came with everything I needed. Give them a call, they should send you the rest of the stuff.

i like the pump. is it going to be inside the case? is it a mag drive model. I know the other little giants that aren't mag drives need to be oiled ever 6 months. Also how big's the ID of the NPT hose barbs? They look kind of tiny. Is it a 5//8 to 1/2. I was lookin for one of those.

Yeah, the pump is a mag drive model, I'm quite pleased with it. It will go into the enclosure I'm building to house it, the rad, and res tank. The ID on the hosebarb fittings are all either 1/2" for the larger ones, or 1/4" NPT on the smaller ones. I havent gotten a 1/2" NPT tap yet so I went ahead and got some of the smaller fittings. I'm really pleased with how well the barbs on these polypro fittings seem to grip, they're much better than the brass ones I was using. Construction on the enclosure should commence in about a week. I'm making some drawings now to get the dimensions and placement of components down. I'll pose some pictures when more progress is made.
