For those working towards a silent PC

I just got a Barracuda IV ATA100 harddrive. After using SCSI for a couple years, I have to say that I'm impressed at how quickly everything seems to work.

More interestingly is how quiet this drive is. The marketing for this drive says it is the quietest production drive so far, and they're right. I have my case open and I can't hear a thing, even on disk accesses (unless I strain).

I tried a search on pricewatch for the product you mentioned, and received no hits. Do you have the model number or the name on the box?
