because of the default mult on the 1.333 ghz athlon, all L1 bridges are closed, and hence the chip comes to you unlocked. I just verified this on my air cooled system.(1.33@1.45ghz)
Cool huh?, thanks AMD!! Also, an old turbo button and wires can be hooked up to the bios reset jumper pins. That way, you don't have to remove your case if you selected too high of a setting and your system won't boot. well, thats it. ![]()

Apparently all 1.4g AMD's are unlocked also. Unfortunately you would need to solder (and void warranty) on ASUS motherboards for your button trick, but in soft jumper mode the system will auto reset to default settings if it doesn't boot on first try.
