Default Newbie need help with bleeding, etc...

Here's what i have ordered....

spiral WB
eheim 1250 1/2 barb
heater core w/82 cfm fan (is one enough?)
tygon 1/2 tubing
small resevoir for inline eheim pump

1. So what should be the first thing once i get all this together? Do i assemble them seperately without installing to cpu or anything and just let it run for a day to see if there's problem?

2. Air bubbles. What is the basic process of bleeding and how often do you do it...Since i do not want to deal with the process of bleeding, it is a must to purchase a small reservoir for an eheim inline pump? The resevoir would act as a 24/7 air trap and distill water refill correct? So i will never need to worry about air bubble correct? If no, with my setup, how would i get rid of air bubble once they accumulate?

3. Once the computer is shutdown, will the watercool setup still run? Or do i need to purchase some kind of mod to control this with the system on/off function?

maybe i'm wrong or maybe you're an idiot. I said i do not want to deal bleeding the system, hence i asked the question if my setup requires it since i already have an inline pump and a resevoir ( isn't a reservoir serve as a filler and an air base?). Basically, a yes or no answer. Maybe if you type more and short on being a smart ass, you'll help others more. You just waisted 5 minutes of my time. Have a good day...btw...i've read most of the articles on Procooling.com already. Just thought i'll ask the real users opinion to make sure.

With that res if it is the dd one you should be able to just fill it and not worry about bleeding your stystem. But I will say with the same setup that those res's can cause extra bubbles in the system.

If draining is a concern, I suggested (a long time ago) to put a T at the pump (or anywhere at the bottom of the loop, really) that would point down: put a ball valve on it, and let it extend down through a hole at the bottom of the case.

That way, you can just prop the system up, and open the valve to drain it all.

(and please, if you're going to add nasty chemicals to your water, please dispose of the waste in an environmentally safe way!)

thanks for the help....bigben2k, by draining it all, you meant draining all the air bubbles and not the liquid right? Since both the computer and the watercool setup is running, will the water rush out of the T when opened...my guess would be a no but correct me if i'm wrong.

No he's talking about the fact that you will need to drain the water out of your system from time time and put fresh water in. Or if you are like me and will be changing parts around allot it makes swaping parts easier.

Errr... right, You used the term "bleeding" while referencing an air trap, I think that's where you lost us... I meant to drain (or bleed) the system of the coolant (the liquid part).

As for air, just use any of the air traps presented in this forum. Just watch out that the coolant level won't allow the coolant to splatter everywhere, or else you'll have more bubbles than you can handle.

God damn man, chill out. No need for this kind of crap here. He may have 4 posts here but he may also have 1000+ posts somewhere else you never know. Personally I have about 5x more posts on 2 other boards than I do here so don't discount advise just because of one's post count. Anyway, I'm sure he just misread your question...and to answer it for you no you do not need a bleed tube if you have a reservoir, or inline reservoir (like the Dangerden one) and like wise you do not need a reservoir if you have a fill tube. Hope this answers your question.
