Kidney stones SUCK!!!

This has nothing whatsoever to do with WC, but being a member for several months now, I feel obligated to share.

I was taking a squat this evening when all of a sudden I get this immense pain in my lower left abdomen, I though something had ruptured, so I call out to my stepson from the pot and tell him to dial 911 (poor guy, I scared him to death)

All the neighbors came out to see when my yard was littered with firetrucks and ambulences.(Its a small town) anyway after 3 shots of pain killer, an X-ray and Cat Scan, they said I passed a stone the size of a grain of beach sand.

I'm only 26, I didn;t think I'd have to worry about that shit till my 40's or 50's.

AAARRRGGGGHH!!!!!!!

who knew beach sand cound cause such issues... something that small should not be an issue

I thought they would be more like the size of a stone not a gain of sand! but ouch!

yessir, kidney stones are a beeyatch!
I had a stone a year ago , I'm 27 now.
When I was in the emergency room getting checked out and doped up, there was a lady in there with a kidney stone as well. She said she had birthed three children and the pain from the stone made the birthing process almost pain-free by comparison. I was in so much pain I wanted to hug her, she understood! So take it easy, and drink lots of water, best of luck to you.

I'm not going to go into detail but I'm going 20 and I had one last year. I was in bed crying for like 4 days. Just drink a lot of Cranberry juice.
