Default A little All-in-Wonder tech support needed here... help?

I have an AIW 8500 (128mb), and i'm having problem with both TV in (coax) and S-video in. I can get the audio signals from these (i.e. gamecube games through thte gamecube and the channels as I change them via coax). However, my video screen stays black. Any ideas? ATi Tech support sucks. Automated bullcrap.

I've never had that problem with mine,
I guess the standard procedure would be to double check your connections,
I would assume you ran the setup programs for the tv and sound,
Then the whole driver routine... uninstall and reinstall.
(I am pretty sure there is a direct-x specific driver for ATI_AIW video capture but now I can't seem to find it)

(sorry I've got nothing here)

I sometimes get some good info from Rage3d although they are prone to castigating newbies like myself for not being as smart as them.
Rage3d-Forum

I'll look around some more.

found this, may be worth trying.

There seems to be a bug in the graphics card BIOS of some Radeons: they report an VGA-monitor connected to the DVI port though there is none. In the end, the overlay containing the TV-signal of stamptv is shown on the non-existing monitor, leaving an empty window on the real one. Solution is to choose "Swap Displays" in Radeon Screen Preferences.

Thanks for the referral to Rage3D. I'm gonna go check them out and see if they can help me. I can't find "swap displays" in the prefs.

I think they mean the primary windows in the display properties/settings
where you can select your primary and secondary monitors
