New DangerDen 1/2inch GPU block! (warning: ~100K of pics)

A month ago I emailed DangerDen about having a 1/2inch GPU block becuase the added complexity in paralell 3/8 systems seemed counterproductive. This way I can run serial with a 1/2 Maze2. They agreed to make it at no extra cost over a 3/8. Here it is . . .

My first reaction was "CRAP thats heavy" and you can see why. The blocks very thick, much more even then the Maze2 and probably ways as much.

I can't wait to test it out with a 317GPH Eheim.

BTW, DangerDen has added 1/2inch GPU blocks to their site. I assume they are the same as my block.

Hope the final product come more polished than the one shown. Lol, where are the mounting tabs? Want to see some flow rates...

Nah you wouldn't want it more polished than that. That is a nice flat finish. Often polish rounds the surface slightly. The block looks really nice. It looks like it just goes in and out
