What is the lowest voltage people have been able to run the 24V version of this fan at? I'm picking up a few of them. I know that people use them at 12V, but was just curious about going even lower when I want them to be quiet.
Thanks! |

All of them seem to work perfectly fine at 12v, but I have heard of mixed stories when people have tried to run them much lower than 12v. You might be lucky and be able to run at 7v though, but by that point you'd probably find that 4x 80mm fans would be quieter and move more air

As I stated to your same question on another forum......I have two of the 24v models running at 12v and they are all but totally silent......I cant imagine why you would want to run them any slower in the name of being quiet.......

shaft01,
Thanks for the reply. I had not checked over there since I posted it. I appreciate the first-hand experience. |
