Default One way Check Valves for Disconnect setups.

Don't know, but was thinking about those people that have disconnects(Project DH3) and how much a one way check valve would effect the flow in the system, since it only allows fluids to travel in one direction.

They can be awfully restrictive. They're usually rated for a specific pressure drop, so I would stay far away from them.

There are quick disconnects that will close when they are disconnected. Rare, but out there.

Yeah cause in the auto industry, check valves are used to keep air from going backwards in a system...but its usually only for vaccum purposes or something so restriction isn't a problem as the items aren't flow dependent.

not really a need

Just brainstorming...taking more information from car knowledge and tossing it around in the computer field.
