Do you mean the impellor housing or the motor housing? The impellor housing just has a twist fit cap which pops off easily, the motor housing is hermetically sealed so I wouldn't recommend opening it.

yeah the impeller just twists off and back on easily, otherwise you'll probably break the thing

I'm just asking, because I'm going to make a pump failure alarm, and if it had been easy to open it, I could use the existing (that one that is there allredy) hall-element.
