Default New WC setup Q's

Sup guys, I've been reading this forum for about a week, and you guys seem to know whats up(so I ask you), and now am ready to order my new setup, I'm going to order a Maze2(1/2"), 1/2" Sil.hose, Eheim 1250(with 1/2" adaptor). Now I have Q's on the Rad. I have an Inwin q500n case, and want to have this completely enclosed in it. The rad will have to go above the power supply either against the rear panel(space is 7 5/8w x 6 3/8h x 10 3/8d), or attached to the top panel(which is removable). It would be EZ to mount a cube to the rear panel(and mount a 120 to it), and still have some room behind drives to do stuff, but have been reading that cubes s***.So if cubes are that bad, I would rather use a heater core, and mount a 120 to it. How are you guys mounting the rads to the box, and the fans to the cores, and what kind of fan/rad setups are you using.
I am a rookie to WC boxes, so go ez on me lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I just upgraded to a socket A, and I have an SK6 with YS Tech 7k fan..... and the noise is unbearable. This IS going to be ordered quickly!!!!

Thx. in advance guys,

It isn't that the cubes suck... but there are better performers. I know www.liquidcool.org sells a heatercore w/ mounting tabs. Otherwise you have to rig up your own solution from whatever resources you have avaliable. I have my Black Ice attached to a shroud. The fans are mounted to the case and the shroud has holes to attach it to the case. Zip ties work too...

Yeah I kinda figured I would have to rig it up, was hoping to be able to bolt the rad directly to the case, looking at that leviathan for that reason, obviously I will have to wire the fans to it though. Gonna look into the shroud to see what kind of mounting options I can come up with there.

Thx kevin,

The cores out on the watercooling market wont fit inside that case. I have same case. YOu have to figure the support beams on the top of the case. They steal a good inch both dimensions. I have found a heater core at autozone that will fit however. Autozone part number : 398260 . As fas as mounting you could use some threaded nylon rod through the rad. That is what I am going to do...

Hope it helps

i have the inwin case, actually probably the older q500. which is only a little different. but i am putting the heater core in the bottom front, which fits that and my 1250 after i remove the hard drive cage.

i do this so when i put my res, it, and not the rad, is the highest point in the system, and also cuzz i want the coldest air to cross the rad.

so you might want to keep that in mind.
