I will have to see if I have SoF2 around here. If so, I'm in this weekend! I will suck at first cause I haven't played any twitch shooters in a year or so. I should recover skill in time, however.

I tried Sof2 in singleplayer, wasn't really all that fun. So I keep playing CS, Bf1942 right now

SoF2 has a ton more replayability for me than any game in recent memory ( besides maybe Half Life, and Q2CTF). I really dont dig BF1942 on the web and wont run that on my server ( its a poorly coded pig) Sof2 is the right mix of speed, and fun for me. at Lans thats mainly all we play between BF1942 games ( I do like BF1942 at LAN's, just not online)

Im into UT2003 right now and currently running a dedicated server on my home server. CS was the best but now I cant find any good servers to play on AND no one to play it with.

Bummer

I have moral problems with SoF2

I can't play online cause of me poor ole 56K connection , but LANing it has to be where it's at, too many twats ruining online gaming for my tastes, SoF2 is one of my alltime favorites, up there with MoHAA&Spearhead, MoHAA is still the only game I've played all the way through more than three times though, I've lost count now ...

BF1945 is OK in single player mode, I can't imagine what it'd be like with some good teamwork at a big LAN!...

anyone tried americas army?

haven't experienced any similar rush if u r the only man standing from your team against 4 opfor.

it's free for download
graphics are amazing (ut 2k3 engine)
the tactics are amazing (it does miracles to ppl if they don't respawn immediately when they get shot)

as maddog states, its almost the first thought coming in to my head when i get up. but then there's work...

I am working on getting a stats page up for the game server.

The servers is finalized now. its running in the background, the map rotation was cleaned up, the game settings were tweaked a bit more. So its up and running 24/7 with a max of 32 player connections at 24 people on yesterday it was only using 25 - 30% of the CPU.

The IP for the server is 216.127.94.135 , and its now called "!kicksomeass![24/7]

Ya know, I was wondering how come that SOF2 is distributed on the traxdata cdr's when I got it , so now for online multiplay, it won't work...

Heh, guess I'll see ya later (maybe)
