ok mad newb time, should my two 120mm fans be blowing or sucking thru the radiator. I wanna place the rad outside the case on front, fans inside and get good coolin potential, but if i am suckin into case and therefore thru the radiator, would that decrease coolin capacity cause i am sucking?
Here is what i thought of for fans... all panaflows: 2 H1A 120mm@ 7V thru the rad(suck or blow?) 1H1A 60mm @full at mid-back by processor(suck or blow?) 1H1A 80mm @7V above PSU top of case blowing out back 1L1A @full blowing out top I say blow for the top fans cause hot air rises, so naturally we would want to exhaust that. Any thoughts? Is that 60 even needed? Any help is much appreciated, nothing has been purchased except a black ice 2(i know ppl say heater core and i flushed money down tubes, oh well i dun care ![]()

Generally fans are better at sucking than at blowing through a rad.
The other thing you might consider is you shouldn't fight natural airflow. Hot air rises. So if you can, help it rise faster... Bring cold air from a low point. Lastly you must bring the coldest possible air to your rad. That way you'll cool more efficiently your water. |
