How loud exactly is it?

How loud are the Vantec HDD coolers? I am gonna get two of them, so I need to know how quiet they are, and do they quiet down the HDD?

Is this one of those bay coolers with tiny 40mm fans ?
I found 2 that are interesting:
- "Ultimate hard disk cooler" -> big blue heatsink, efficient
- Antec HD cooling kit -> very good alu heatsink (with fins !), and 2 temp probes with a digital display. Very efficient.
Once stripped of their fans, they're quite good (and totally silent !). The Antec holds my 15K.3 and keeps it around 38°C (according to SMART). That's quite enough...
40mm fans aren't *loud* per se, but produce an annoying whine.
I recommend you the Antec HDD cooler. IMHO it's the best design for running fanless.
