Default opinion / advise, please.

I'm thinking of buying this pump for a setup with a heatcore and 2-3 blocks.

Aqua-Bee UP 2000/1

What do you think? Should I go for an Eheim 1250 instead ??

Looks beefy. Since your head is brobably not going to exceed 50cm, you'll get 500l/h on each block... That's enough for most cooling applications! I can't answer how quiet, energy effiecient, and reliable it is
One concern is your heatercore... 1/2 inch ID lines ain't gonna cut it... personally I would go with seperate pumps in order to avoid having GIANT diameter hoses...
(trust me, I am running a 1000l/h system on an Eheim1250, and my D-tek customs radiator is the bottleneck although i'm using 1/2 inch ID tubing... plus, managing the hoses is a giant headache!)

The heatercore is from an 88 toyota (think its the same as Catars "big black arse") It's got 15,5 mm ID lines in and out (don't know what that is in inches but i think its 1/2")
I'll find a way to make things work when I get a pump. It's not much fun to play aroun with hoses if u can't test it.

Thanx for replying.

Will inline or submerged be the same performancewise?
I dont mind a bit of added temp to the water.

You cannot possible state that with any degree of certainty. The flow resistance of the different blocks, fittings, etc. is cumulative, and finding a solution to the amount of head produced is either an iterative or graphical problem, since you've got to match the flow and resistance with a similar flow and pressure for the pump used. It's certainly not as simple as measuring how tall the system is.
