Default Broke a leg on a Capacitator from a Q-Tec 550w, need a new but where?

Does any one have a broken one who can do me the favour and send me it or does anyone know where to buy just this one.

Default my 0.02 cents.

First, thats not a capacitor. (im sure of that)

http://www.finim.com/shop/en-gb/dept_1.html

This is a capacitor. Well, one type of them anyway .

Second, it looks like a power transistor , or a double schoktty diode. But i cant seem to locate any datasheet on that.

I'm betting its a double schoktty diodes, they come in those formats, they're used for Rectification / Switching / Regulation, there's usually a couple of those in each PSU.

I "broke" one once from an old PSU, and... its still dead. Even with a replacement (the best i could find, but not and equal one) it didnt work.

Edit :

Found it in ST homepage.

http://eu.st.com/stonline/books/pdf/docs/3506.pdf

Its a power rectifier, just as i suspected.

That's not a capacitor. It's a dual Schottky diode.

SGS Thompson STPS2045. (I can't tell whether it is common cathode or common anode. Little data available on web. You could determine that with a DMM.)

45 Volt, 20 Amps

After determining whether it is common cathode or common anode you could order a suitable replacement from DigiKey, but they have a $25 minimum order.

Edit: Just noticed - Sweden. Don't know where you might find a replacement.

I think this an online store, covering the EU. Nevertheless, a common electronics store should have those, or probably could order a few (buy two, just in case).
