Question for pHaestus on diode reader...

Why didn't you need 10k resistors between SMBDATA, SMBCLK and power?

I ask because you say to follow the spec, and that your diode reader is identical to the typical spec, but I don't see the 10k resistors in your drawing. So I was just wondering.

you seem to be talking about the pullups .. since you're attaching to an existing bus the pullups are already there
