Default Hydor L30 help!

I bought a used OTIS kit with L30 pump, it was loud, I read about the Via1300 mod and glued the Impeller into place, now it starts and is quiet, and then it builds up to an annoying rattle, any advice?

most probably there's air in the lines...
Are you using a "T" line or a res?

Can you post some pics of your setup?

Having an L30 I can tell you that if you have that rattling sound inside that means you have air trapped. shut down the pump and restart it a couple of times. Also make sure that you tilt your case in all direction while the pump is in action to get rid of the air trapped somewhere....Happened to me once at the beginning. I did that and it was back to silence and still is ever since.
