Default Spiral waterblock questions

Anyone know where i can find some background info behind the spiral waterblock. It's like 2 years old and i want to do some history research on it's creation and design.

PM Fixitt for the original, and then e-mail Peter from www.geminicool.com for his version.

Sounds like Dtek likes taking well built blocks and mass producing them. What next after Whitewater?
Interesting.

A pity that the [H]ardforums database was lost from that period

Fixit's development and theorizing was extremely well documented, along with other members commentary

It started out as a handmade (manual milling) that forum members could order (Ive got the #2 in the production run) then Fixit got a CAD\CAM controlled milling machine for awhile, eventually selling them through DTek after that I lost track of Fixit as he got rather busy, demand exceeding supply, I guess at some point DTek assumed production

I cant remember who it was that suggested the Spir@l spelling
but it instantly caught on

His original development was very public
soon after other similar designs started to appear
(from my perspective)

I have exiled myself several times over "incidents" I didnt agree with
but have never burned any bridges

someone needs to occassionaly clue in the n00bs

and there are lots of viable forums, however OC and Cooling isnt what it used to be, I sort of miss those days

now I monitor alot more forums (security, storage, ect), and occassionaly post,
and for awhile I was a regular at pimprigs till I ran afoul of a admin (didnt break any rules, just pissed him off)

but somehow I still come back to the [H]
Im not even sure why
