![]() ![]() this is, as im sure you can tell, a clear shroud. it was made from 3/32 inch thick lucite i brought from lowes. once it was cut and sanded as flat as i could get it, i glued it together with some plumbers goop (works great lol). very easy to make these minus the sanding to get it flat (next time ill just let them cut it lol). i plan to use some foam weatherstripping to seal the shroud to my DDen heater core. ANYways, whats a good way to mount this thing?? id like it to look clean, and be able to remove the shroud easily if needed. so gluing it or using screws thru the fan are out. maybe making some ears and using velcro?? *** edit / update *** shroud was mounted using strips of velco. i glued the 3/32 wide strips to the edges of the shroud and heater core using plumbers goop. holds (and seals) great, although i haven't tried to remove it yet. On the side with the fan hole: Add two ears (right where Your tumb and fingers are at the pic) so You can slide it over the fan and squeeze it between fan and rad.
