Default Antec Sonata 120MM Nextcool water cooling

I have a little question I hope you will be able to awnser for me. I have been looking into also buying the Antec Sonata case. I want to use watercooling on it also. I'm not a big modder, but putting stuff together is fine with me!

What I want to do is buy a set from NextCool (very very nice stuff). Take a look at the set here. ( http://www.xxlcases.nl/webshop/pd777353538.htm ) that should have me set for just cooling my CPU. And keeping it really nice and cool! I'll probably add a GPU cooling and northbridge later, but with this set, it should be no problem at all I think. (does anyone have any experience with the nextcool products?).

My questions.

a. The biggest one. The radiator. I want to position it on the position where the standard fan comes normally. The outtake. Check out the radiator in the set. ( http://www.xxlcases.nl/webshop/pd1852207697.htm ) . It is a maybe maybe fit, so I really hope you might be able to take some measurments for me!! These are for the radiator " 133 x 155 x 30 mm ". As you can see, they are slightly larger then 120x120. The block further has 120MMx120MM mounting holes on both sides. So one side to fit to the case and the otherside to fit a fan too.

The only alternative if it wouldn't fit, is to fit the fan first and then the radiator, although I do not think that would be a good idea considering weight.

2. The pump and water reservoir I think I'm just going to position in the 2x5'25" I'll have left. (Buying a DVD writer, which does all in one drive anyways). Would there be any other place to maybe position this?

3. Does anyone have any exprience with lanparties + watercooling. I'm in an organization here in Holland called Gameparty.net (http://www.gameparty.net), this means I'm more at lans in the weekend then NOT really? So I wonder with leakage, etc. If anyone has any experience? Something I'm quite "rough" with my pc case.... |)

4. Anyone have any experience with the nextcool products? I have read some reviews about it, and they seem to do pretty well? They look nice, that's for sure!

5. Cooling a GeForce FX5900. Has it been done yet with watercooling and does anyone forsee any problems?

But the measurments for the radiator is the biggest question I have. If it would fit, it would make for one nice small water cooled fast case/machine!

Please let me know,
Regards,
Quindor

p.s. Sorry to just barge in here as a new ueser and just spout all these questions....

I should warn everyone that that first link is in German (I think)... I liked the pictures though.

Though Black Ice Radiators I'm told are a copper heatercore contructions... and the rest of the fittings look to be ALU... so you may have a few probs with corrosion.

Uh, No Boli those first two links are from the Netherlands as in .nl .
Nice links though, even If I don't know what they are saying.

Quindor I'm staying all copper when It comes to water blocks,
The tubing and connectors are either plastic or nylon,
I Just don't think You should mix metal types.

Default cool reactions! ;)

Hmm, it says on the webpage that the radiator is made out of copper only. Well, it says it's made out of copper at least, not the "only" part.

Yeah, pictures are good. The nextcool stuff really looks sweeeeet, take a look at these pictures (while we're at it!).

This stuff looks mega sweet is you ask me. )) I'll make for one nice setup I think...

If only I was able to find out if the radiator was going to fit inside of the case or not.... That's my only question really about the case and the cooling products? ... I've been trying to find people with an antec sonata case, to take some measurements, so far, no luck.

But thank you for the replies! That's always good. I'll probably make a nice review when I've got everything complete and setup. I'll be sure to drop a link on the forum when that's the case.

Any replies and thoughts, etc. will be appreciated!

Thnx's,
Quindor
